Yamaha Central Enduro Opener
After a one year hiatus, Bushriders is hosting the opening round of the 2013 Yamaha Central Enduro Series.
After several years at Surreydale, we have a new venue for this year. It will be based around the Mangamaire MX facility south of Pahiatua.
Terrain will range from the 2 kilometre motorcross track to rolling hills, steep limestone country to a stoney river section to trees with silt, sand, clay and gravel.
Clerk of Course, Murray Searle is impressed with one of the terrain test, a 3.5 kilometre tree section that will test the fitness of competitors. With only two short straight aways in the loop that allow riders to hook 3rd gear briefly, there is no rest during the 5 minute plus test. With the current drought, the organisers will be utilising a one kilometre section of river just remind you that it is an enduro.

Sign on will be from 8;30am, the first bike to get away a 10 am sharp.
Entry fee is $50, plus $20 for day license for unlicensed riders.
Only 1 fuel dump at park ferme.
